For more than three decades, Nevada Magazine’s Great Nevada Picture Hunt photo contest has been a favorite among photographers and readers. The Grand Prize winner of this year’s contest will receive a $250 gift certificate (redeemable online as well) courtesy of Gordon’s Photo Service based in Carson City and Reno.

About 50 representatives from Nevada’s tourism industry gathered at the Legislature March 18 to discuss the travel industry’s broad impact on the economy and how to better convey that message to elected officials.
