Brass Betsy to make July 4th appearance in Carson City

Brass Betsy: the famous train will make an appearance at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City this weekend.Join the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City this Fourth of July weekend to see the famous Inyo “steam up” from 9:00am to noon each day.

She goes by the nickname “Brass Betsy,” she's starred in 29 films and she's 130 years old. There are hundreds of other amazing facts about the Inyo, but there is only one time, and one place, to see this superstar locomotive back on the tracks – this Independence Day weekend at the Nevada State Railroad Museum.

Along with the Inyo steaming up, you can ride a steam engine every 40 minutes from 10:00am until 4:00pm or peruse the awesome collection of rail cars that have been restored and are on display at the museum. The Nevada State Railroad Museum is a good time for the whole family.
