Canned is king!
Canned beer gets its due at CANFEST, the world’s first festival devoted strictly to canned suds, 6 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Reno Ballroom at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino, 407 N. Virginia St., Reno. (At left, a scene from the 2011 CANFEST taken by Jeff Dow.)
Brewers Oskar Blues, 21st Amendment and Anderson Valley will be returning to CANFEST, now in its fourth year, along with Mammoth Brewing Company, the event’s new title brewery sponsor.
“We’re incredibly excited to have Mammoth join us for CANFEST this year,” Ty Whitaker, event co-organizer, said. “They have a phenomenal reputation in the craft beer world and as a brewery that looks to keep the trend going, we couldn’t ask for a more appropriate CANFEST affiliate.”
