Chicken Wing Society Cook-off runs July 1-4 in Reno

The Great International Chicken Wing Society Cook-off runs July 1-4 on Virginia Street in downtown Reno. Sample chicken wings and vote for your favorite, as well as listen to bands perform on three outdoor stages. Admission is free; sampler baskets start at $3. The cook-off runs from 2 to 7:30 p.m. on July 1, from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. July 2 and 3, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 4. Now in its 10th year, the event is sponsored by
