Fish for free at Nevada state parks June 14
Nevada's Division of State Parks is granting free fishing access to its state parks on June 14, 2008.
The parks where the free fishing is available are:
- Washoe Lake
- Sand Harbor and the Lake Tahoe Backcountry (Marlette and Hobart)
- Rye Patch
- Fort Churchill
- South Fork
- Wild Horse
- Cave Lake
- Ward Charcoal Ovens
- Spring Valley
- Echo Canyon
- Beaver Dam
- Big Bend of Colorado
Just show up to one of those state parks, show your fishing pole, and you get in for free. That’s a pretty solid Father’s Day weekend for any family that enjoys casting a line here and there.
Below is a map of all of Nevada’s state parks. Just click one of the markers and you’ll see information on that park and how to find it.
