Lake Tahoe Resorts Make Condé Nast Traveler’s Top Ski-Hotels List

The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort in Incline VillageSix Lake Tahoe area hotels made Condé Nast Traveler's list of the “Top 50 Ski Hotels in North America.” The prestigious list includes the Marriott Grand Residence Club at Heavenly Village, ranked 14; PlumpJack Squaw Valley, ranked 21; the Resort at Squaw Creek ranked 24; the Village at Squaw Valley ranked 30; Marriott's Timber Lodge at Heavenly Village, ranked 33; and the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort in Incline Village and Northstar-at-Tahoe, both ranked 40.

These accolades come just after the online travel Web site Orbitz.com ranked Lake Tahoe the No. 1 destination for hotel and vacation packages booked on Orbitz.com for travel between Nov. 20, 2007, and May 1, 2008. Orbitz.com noted Lake Tahoe as being one of the few destinations where visitors can ski and golf on the same spring day; it also cited the expansive terrain of the Lake Tahoe ski areas offering skiing for all ability levels.
