Ride the Rails with Santa

Saint Nick himself will be exchanging his red velvet hat for a train conductor's cap the weekend of December 12 and 13, 2009 at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City. For two days only, the Santa Train will be chugging along the tracks at the museum from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Rides are only $2.00 per seat and FREE for children sitting in the lap of an adult. Purchase tickets at the Wabuska Depot (cash or checks only).

While at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, visit the Interpretive Center and have your photo taken on the magnificent Inyo, one of the oldest operating steam engines in the United States. You can also get a quick bite to eat and warm up with a hot beverage at the Warren Engine Company Number 1. Hot dogs, chili dogs, chili, hot chocolate, hot coffee and bottled water will be available for purchase.
