The Great Train Robbery of the Nevada Southern Railway

The Nevada Southern Railway will be taken over by gun slinging cowboys of the Wild West on a special excursion train ride at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City. Members of the Reenactment Guild of America will “hold up” the trains. The heist will be complete with mock gunfire and general merriment.

The trains will be chugging along the tracks on Saturday, April 3, 2010, and depart at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. This event is being held in conjunction with the Railroad Pass Casino in Boulder City and the Gold Strike Casino in Jean.

Tickets are available for purchase the day of the event at the museum. Fares are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors 65 and older, $4 for children ages four through 12 and free for children under four.
