It kicks off with the traditional cattle drive which runs right through the northern part of Reno! From there it’s nonstop action for the next nine days.

There are exhibits, displays, vendors, shops and, of course, rodeoing. Top pros from the circuit come to Reno and compete for over prizes that make it the fourth largest rodeo in the U.S. Events include team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, bull riding and more. With the pros competing each night, there is constant action and never a dull moment.

The rodeo is also a great place to take the family. There are games and kid competitions, such as mutton busting. Overall, it’s a heck of a night out and worth taking a look at.
