UFO Conference 2008 - Rachel, Nevada

I haven’t been to Rachel, but if there was something that could get me there, this might be it.

The tiny Nevada town, located on the edge of the famed Area 51, is hosting UFO Conference 2008. Speakers will talk about such things as the latest sightings, levitation and teleportation. One speaker has actually piloted a spaceship.

The conference is from May 23-25 and accommodations are limited in Rachel, so they suggest you either bring a camper, tent or trailer, or you can stay in Alamo, which is about 50 minutes away. The cost for the whole conference is $150, which includes three meals at the Little A’le’inn or $75 for a single day.

This could be a pretty interesting way to check out one of Nevada’s little towns while getting close to a legendary spot located in the Nevada desert.
