New Discovery in Reno!
The Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum is set to open Sept. 10 in Reno. The kids' museum is full of hands-on exhibits grouped into seven galleries, the centerpiece of which is the two-story Cloud Climber, a climbing structure enclosed by netting.
Atomic Testing Museum Receives Grant
The Atomic Testing Museum, Las Vegas, has just been awarded a significant grant for the 2011 Museums & Community Collaborations Abroad (MCCA) program by the American Association of Museums (AAM) and the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
