The Tropicana Las Vegas introduces its newest pool party concept, “Mint Mondays,” complete with food, fun and entertainment every Monday from noon to 11 p.m. beginning June 23. Guests of Mint Mondays will be entertained throughout the afternoon and evening. A DJ and band will rotate throughout the evening. All bands appearing at Mint Mondays are published artists in music genres such as Caribbean, Cajun, Latin and other music styles. Pool party activities include pool volleyball, swimming, dancing and gaming. Tropicana's swim-up blackjack tables, seating a total of 14 players, will be open for the duration of the party. Three barbecue grills will be posted throughout the pool deck serving menu items such as jerk chicken breast, barbecue brisket sandwiches, broiled Italian sausage, fish tacos and carne asada. Two portable bars, in addition to the permanent Coconut Grove Bar and Swim-up Bar, will serve up the cocktails. Mint flavored beverages will be offered and include Wild Mint Juleps, Mojitos, Peachy Mint Coolers and more. The traditional tropical blended daiquiris and margaritas will also be available as both an alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage. The Tropicana pool was voted one of the best swimming pools in Las Vegas by the Travel Channel, and Mint Mondays will take the pool experience a step further with new lighting, sound and stage systems. Private cabanas are available for rent during the Mint Mondays parties, and available every day of the week. Each includes a personalized food and beverage server, chaise lounges, chairs, a table, and a complimentary fruit basket. All pool parties at the Tropicana Las Vegas are free and open to the public.
