Davis Creek Park
Riders will find a parking lot for horse trailers as well as two corrals. The horse trail is on the well-marked Ophir Creek Trail. While the terrain is a bit rough and rocky, the views of Washoe Valley and Lake Tahoe are worth the effort.
Washoe Lake State Park
The equestrian area at Washoe Lake State Park offers trailer parking, water troughs, tie racks for the horses, diverse wildlife and bird watching, views of the Sierra Nevada and a wide range of terrain for the rider.
