Fallon National Wildlife Refuge
Fallon National Wildlife Refuge is located in the Lahontan Valley, outside of Fallon. Established in 1931 as a refuge and breeding ground for birds and wild animals, the refuge comprises over 15,000 acres of playa and wetland habitat in the Carson Sink.
Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge Complex
The Stillwater Complex is made up of three refuges (Stillwater, Fallon and Anaho Island) that offer a wide range of natural resources and an array of recreational and educational opportunities, particularly birdwatching.
