188 Carson St.
Founded in 1983 by Carl and Hope Falcke, the Orchard House was the very first bed and breakfast in Douglas County, Nevada. It is currently operated by their son and daughter-in-law as a venue for outdoor weddings and special events. This property has served as the personal residence for five generations of the same family. Located in the heart of Nevada's "Oldest Permanent Settlement," the Orchard House offers approximately two acres of lawn and gardens, interspersed with 100-year-old fruit and shade trees. This property can accommodate groups as small as 50 or as large as 400. There are many options available for packages and set-up, and you are free to use your choice of any outside vendors. Catering or furniture rental is not provided, but assistance is available for other amenities.
