The picturesque Fallon Golf Course winds along the banks of the scenic Carson River and is generously dotted with clumps of towering cottonwood and willow trees. Ranked the number one nine-hole course in northern Nevada by Straightball Magazine, Fallon Golf Course has all the elements for a fantastic round of golf–excellent layout, beautiful setting and friendly atmosphere. Measuring a playable 3,100 yards, the par-36 course thoughtfully incorporates the Carson River and other water features into several exciting holes. Fallon Golf Course also features strategic sand bunkers and superbly manicured greens that rival some of the best in the area. Several holes line up along out-of-bounds stakes, which call for highly accurate shots. The signature hole at Fallon Golf Course is number seven, a challenging 142-yard par three that requires a tee shot over the Carson River to the green beyond. Golfers of varying abilities will also appreciate the additional sets of tees offered at the fun Fallon course, which at one time hosted the Governors Cup.
Players at Fallon Golf Course can also find a pro shop, banquet facilities and clubhouse restaurant and tavern. And with the current expansion of the course from nine to 18 holes, the Fallon Golf Course will soon have that much more to offer.
