The first impression of Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is striking, thanks to the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired design of the majestic archway leading onto the property. Guests are then greeted by the spectacular clubhouse, rows of towering palm trees and tantalizing glimpses of the desert course beyond. And the Ted Robinson-designed course doesn’t disappoint. The traditional, all-grass holes are immaculately maintained and the beautiful course features more than 3,000 palm trees that contribute to the tropical paradise setting. The par-72 course winds 6,909 yards across the 162-acre property, incorporating elements such as cascading waterfalls, serene ponds and creeks, shifting elevations, rolling fairways and lush greens. But as beautiful as these features are, they pose a serious challenge to even the skilled player. The course is characterized by a cluster of par threes that Robinson himself calls the very best he’s every designed. And the best part of the dazzling Rhodes Ranch course? It’s a shockingly good value. In fact, VegasGolfer readers’ votes earned Rhodes Ranch Golf Club a Fairway Award for “Best Value” in 2002. The beautiful clubhouse at Rhodes Ranch is impressive on its own, featuring sumptuous booth seating and leather-padded chairs, perfect for gazing out the floor-to-ceiling windows at the spectacular course and mountain views.
