The Carson Valley Inn features free live entertainment in the Cabaret Lounge on Sunday through Wednesday from 6:00 to 10 p.m., Thursday from 7:00 to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 1 a.m. As a courtesy to the Inn's many sports fans, live entertainment is delayed as appropriate for certain major sports events so they may be viewed to their conclusion on the HD pull-down screen.
Steve Lord, February 24 – 26: Playing guitar and offering dynamic vocals, Steve is a main stage performer on the West Coast. Known as the man of a thousand songs, Steve presents an evening of oldies, country, pop, blues, jazz, soul and rock 'n' roll.
After Dark, February 27 – March 1: Playing your favorites from the 60’s through today with lots of 70's hits, this high-energy rock 'n' roll band will get you out of your seat and on your feet! After Dark’s band members have a collective 125 years of performance experience and the group has a continually growing song catalog and a fun-loving following.
Phil Prunier, March 2 – 5: A guitarist and vocalist – with some tunes using the mandolin or harmonica – Phil Prunier entertains with hits from artists such as Creedence Clearwater Revival, Brooks & Dunn, James Taylor, Willie Nelson and more.
Decades, March 6 – 8: Decades presents a vibrant and diverse act from Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" to Katy Perry’s “California Girls." Decades' 4 part harmonies and energized rhythm section truly shine when playing hits from the 1950's to today. The group includes Samantha Francis (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Ben Ruttenberg (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Billy DiBono (drums, vocals), Will Watje (guitar, sax, vocals), and Tobias Brooks (bass, guitar, vocals).
Brian Andrews, March 9 – 12: One of Northern Nevada's top Elvis Impersonators, Brian Andrews presents his "King and Friends" show featuring Elvis and the people he performed with. Brian's history of the King also includes impersonations of many of his friends in the entertainment field such as Dean Martin, Bill Haley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Nat King Cole, Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Richie Valens, Ricky Nelson, The Everley Brothers and Chuck Berry.
Just Us, March 13 – 15: JUST-US is a unique group of musicians who decided to blend together the sounds of the Motor City and Oakland, CA to develop "Sweet, Grown & Sexy" sounds - music from the 60’s to the present. Aladdin handles lead vocal and percussions. He is joined by Les Carter on vocals and drums, Phil Weaver on vocals and guitar and Fred Williams on bass.
George Pickard, March 16 – 19: George is an accomplished performer, believable impressionist, captivating entertainer and successful song writer. He co-wrote "What Did You Do with Your Old Forty Fives" for Bobby Vinton and backed up many acts from the 50's and 60's including The Shirelles, The Diamonds and The Platters. He was also one of the Kingsmen (Louie, Louie) for a while. George has played the Fillmore in San Francisco with acts such as Santana, Big Brother and the Holding Company and Jefferson Airplane.
Atomika, March 20 – 22: Atomika entertains with their huge variety of chart-topping hits from Top 40, Rock, R&B, Country, Hip-hop, Pop, Alternative, and Dance. From Aretha Franklin to Iron Maiden, no tune is left unturned. Joining leader and founder Mark Twohey (vocals and drums) are Adina Pearl (vocals), Keith Lindsey (vocals and guitar) and Jon Middleman (vocals and bass).
Dale Poune, March 23 – 26: Dale plays guitar, dobro, mandolin and bass. An accomplished vocalist with a variety of musical styles, he has performed with the Fortunes, Buddy Miles, The Coasters and The Drifters – and is currently working with Lacy J. Dalton.
Stew Stewart, March 27 – 29: Always a crowd favorite due to his spontaneity, wit and ability to connect to the audience, a Stew Stewart show has something for everyone . . . country music, blues, oldies, comedy, classic rock, Motown and just plain ol' on-the-spot fun! A Nevada entertainer for over four decades, Stew has appeared at over 100 state and county fairs, many as the opening act for artists such as Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Marie Osmond, Herman's Hermits, The Drifters, The Coasters, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, The Oak Ridge Boys and more! Stew's band is a show in itself and they will be joined by Stew for his performances at 8 and 10 p.m.
The Carson Valley Inn (www.carsonvalleyinn.com) is located on US Hwy 395 in Minden, NV near the start of State Hwy 88, twenty minutes from Lake Tahoe's south shore and 45 minutes south of Reno.
