The Reno River Festival is America's Premier whitewater event that takes place in the heart of downtown Reno at the Truckee River Whitewater Park. Known for attracting the world's top whitewater athletes for an action-filled weekend in Reno. The festival also offers free kayak clinics for all ability levels and ages. The event attracts more than 32,000 people to the thriving riverfront district in downtown Reno.
In addition to a schedule filled with some of the world’s top whitewater competitions, the 2013 Reno River Festival again features two full days of free live entertainment, yoga in the park, enticing food and drink, and the industry’s top vendors in an outdoor expo. A children’s play area also keeps kids entertained while parents enjoy a day of fun and sun.
