Free Nightly Entertainment in the Cabaret Lounge - through May 2, 2015. 
The Carson Valley Inn features free live entertainment in the Cabaret Lounge on Sunday through Wednesday from 6:00 to 10 p.m., Thursday from 7:00 to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 1 a.m. As a courtesy to the Inn's many sports fans, live entertainment is delayed as appropriate for certain major sports events so they may be viewed to their conclusion on the HD pull-down screen.

Decades, March 26 – 27: Decades presents a vibrant and diverse act from Chuck Berry's Johnny B. Goode to Katy Perry’s California Girls.  Decades' 4-part harmonies and energized rhythm section truly shine when playing hits from the 1950's to today.  The group includes Mia Dessenberger (vocals), Ben Ruttenberg (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Billy DiBono (drums, vocals), Will Watje (guitar, sax, vocals), and Tobias Brooks (bass, guitar, vocals).

Stew Stewart, March 28:  Our resident Entertainment Manager is always a crowd favorite with his spontaneity, wit and ability to connect to the audience. A Stew Stewart show has something for everyone . . . country music, blues, oldies, comedy, classic rock, Motown and just plain ol' on-the-spot fun!  A Nevada entertainer for nearly five decades, Stew has appeared at over 100 state and county fairs, many as the opening act for artists such as Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Marie Osmond, Herman's Hermits, The Drifters, The Coasters, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, The Oak Ridge Boys and more!  Stew's band is a show in itself and they will be joined by Stew for his performances at 8 and 10 p.m.

George Pickard, March 29 – April 1:  George is an accomplished performer, believable impressionist, captivating entertainer and successful song writer. He co-wrote What Did You Do with Your Old Forty Fives for Bobby Vinton and backed up many acts from the fifties and sixties including The Shirelles, The Diamonds and The Platters. He was also one of the Kingsmen (Louie, Louie) for a while. George has played the Fillmore in San Francisco with acts such as Santana, Big Brother and the Holding Company and Jefferson Airplane.

American Made, April 2 – 4:  Sometimes called “The Everything Band”, American Made spans eight decades of music, from the 40’s to the present, including oldies, classic rock, country, big-band swing, R&B and current dance music. The award-winning group has been entertaining audiences throughout CA and NV for over 30 years, and is excited to be returning to CVI! The group features Sharon Wyner on vocals and keyboards; Nat Wyner on vocals, electric violin, guitar, and mandolin; Spike Loudermilk on lead guitar and vocals; and Dan Hughart on drums and vocals--4 lead singers and players, all live, all the time!

Jonathan "JB" Barton, April 5 – 8: In his four decades as an entertainer Jonathan has shared the stage with a few legends including Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley. His love for a variety of musical styles is apparent in his selection of favorites from Van Morrison, CCR, Hank Williams, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Eagles and many more. Come out and sing along!

The Kool Shifters Band, April 9: The Kool Shifters play a great mix of music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, country, blues and swing. Band members include David (vocals/drums) who has opened for such greats as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Huey Lewis and The News, and Brad Gillis of Night Ranger; Dana (vocals/lead guitar), Myron (vocals/ bass) who has opened for The Blues Brothers, Marshall Tucker and Robin Trower; Gordon (Saxophone and Flute) who has played for both the Four Tops and the Temptations; and Patti (vocals/keyboard/guitar).

River Road, April 10 – 11: Justin Foutz, Paul Justin, Jacob Delott and Jacob Bell and the four highly-talented & experienced musicians who came together to form River Road. With backgrounds in Country, Pop, Rock, R&B and Jazz, this band delivers a show that is sure to please all tastes in music. You may have caught them in hot spots such as Toby Keith's in Las Vegas, Cadillac Ranch in Apple Valley, CA; Gilly's in Reno and the Brandin' Iron Saloon in San Bernardino, CA.

Steve Lord, April 12 – 15: Playing guitar and offering dynamic vocals, Steve is a main stage West Coast performer. The man of a thousand songs, Steve presents an evening of oldies, country, pop, blues, jazz, soul and rock 'n' roll.

Karaoke with Anthony Janssen, April 16: Style, talent, comedy and charisma . . . words that describe Anthony Janssen and his Legendary Karaoke show. Armed with spot-on comedic timing, props and a lengthy and varied song list, Anthony keeps the audience singing and laughing all night!

The Blues Monsters, April 17 – 18:  A red-hot rockin' blues band performing a powerfully unique combination of R&B, funk, jazz, and Chicago-style blues – this one is a "don't miss." Whether paying respects to the masters of traditional blues, or rockin' out other tunes, The Blues Monsters get the whole house up and dancing!

Greg Austin, April 19 – 22: Greg Austin is a down home, straightforward singer, songwriter and musician who has been diligently performing and writing contemporary Country music for 20 years. Recently relocated to northern Nevada from South Carolina, Greg has also performed in Nashville.

Midnight Express, April 23 – 25: The group entertains with classic rock, country rock and blues – everything from ballads to dance music.

John Dawson Band, May 1 & 2: A Reno based group of five fun-lovin' guys who just like to play music and entertain with a variety of modern country and classic rock. The quintet includes Mitch (Lead Guitar), Brian (keys), J.B. (Bass), Jhan (drums) and namesake John Dawson (vocals and guitar).

The Carson Valley Inn (www.carsonvalleyinn.com) is located on US Hwy 395 in Minden, NV near the start of State Hwy 88, twenty minutes from Lake Tahoe's south shore and 45 minutes south of Reno.  The property includes a casino, sports and race book, 149-room hotel, 74-room motor lodge, 59-site RV Park and a convenience store with Shell gas and diesel fuel.  There are also banquet and meeting rooms and services plus three dining facilities; CV Steak, the Inn's Nevada-style steakhouse featuring steaks, seafood, pasta dishes and more; Katie's, for 24- hour dining choices and Job's Perk for coffee drinks, pastries and sundries.
