Free Nightly Entertainment in the Cabaret Lounge - through December 3, 2014

The Carson Valley Inn features free live entertainment in the Cabaret Lounge on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:00 to 10 p.m., Thursday from 8:00 p.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 1 a.m. As a courtesy to the Inn's many sports fans, live entertainment is delayed as appropriate for certain major sports events so they may be viewed to their conclusion on the HD pull-down screen. Also, live entertainment is not held on Sunday and Monday nights during the NFL football season so we can show the Sunday Night and Monday Night Football games on the HD pull-down screen.
Paul Coveralli, November 4 & 5: Veteran musician Paul Covarelli is a talented guitarist and vocalist. He started the group Jo Mama over 20 years ago and also plays with other groups in the area covering jazz, swing, blues, Latin and more styles.
Steppen Stonz, November 6 - 8: Steppen Stonz performs Broadway tunes, oldies, Motown and pop - an array of musical styles appealing to most musical tastes. The core of the group is the two lead vocalists, Michael Hill and Arthur Hayden, who started in college and have been performing together uninterrupted for over 30 years.
Greg Austin, November 11 & 12: Greg Austin is a down home, straightforward singer, songwriter and musician who has been diligently performing and writing contemporary Country music for 20 years. Recently relocated to northern Nevada from South Carolina, Greg has also performed in Nashville.
After Dark, November 13 – 15: Playing your favorites from the 60’s through today with lots of 70's hits, this high-energy rock 'n' roll band will get you out of your seat and on your feet! After Dark’s band members have a collective 125 years of performance experience and the group has a continually growing song catalog and a fun-loving following.
George Pickard, November 18 & 19:  George is an accomplished performer, believable impressionist, captivating entertainer and successful song writer. He co-wrote "What Did You Do with Your Old Forty Fives" for Bobby Vinton and backed up many acts from the fifties and sixties including The Shirelles, The Diamonds and The Platters. He was also one of the Kingsmen (Louie, Louie) for a while. George has played the Fillmore in San Francisco with acts such as Santana, Big Brother and the Holding Company and Jefferson Airplane.
Jo Mama, November 20:  Jo Mama conveys the same high energy whether they are playing funk, Latin, blues, swing, rock, country or calypso.  Jo Mama features Paul Covarelli on guitar and vocals, drummer Bill Heise lays down the back beat and Nancy Barker rounds it out on keyboards and vocals.
Stew Stewart, November 21 - 22:  Our resident Entertainment Manager is always a crowd favorite with his spontaneity, wit and ability to connect to the audience. A Stew Stewart show has something for everyone . . . country music, blues, oldies, comedy, classic rock, Motown and just plain ol' on-the-spot fun!  A Nevada entertainer for nearly five decades, Stew has appeared at over 100 state and county fairs, many as the opening act for artists such as Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Marie Osmond, Herman's Hermits, The Drifters, The Coasters, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, The Oak Ridge Boys and more!  Stew's band is a show in itself and they will be joined by Stew for his performances at 8 and 10 p.m.
Steve Lord, November 25 & 26: Playing guitar and offering dynamic vocals, Steve is a main stage performer on the West Coast. Known as the man of a thousand songs, Steve presents an evening of oldies, country, pop, blues, jazz, soul and rock 'n' roll.
Just Us, November 27 - 29:  Just Us is a unique group of musicians who decided to blend together the sounds of the Motor City and Oakland, CA to develop "Sweet, Grown & Sexy" sounds - music from the 60’s to the present.  Aladdin handles lead vocal and percussions. He is joined by Les Carter on vocals and drums, Phil Weaver on vocals and guitar and Fred Williams on bass.

The Carson Valley Inn (www.carsonvalleyinn.com) is located on US Hwy 395 in Minden, NV near the start of State Hwy 88, twenty minutes from Lake Tahoe's south shore and 45 minutes south of Reno.  The property includes a casino, sports and race book, 149-room hotel, 74-room motor lodge, 59-site RV Park and a convenience store with Shell gas and diesel fuel.
