Free Nightly Entertainment in the Cabaret Lounge - through January 3, 2015.

The Carson Valley Inn features free live entertainment in the Cabaret Lounge on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:00 to 10 p.m., Thursday from 8:00 p.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 1 a.m. As a courtesy to the Inn's many sports fans, live entertainment is delayed as appropriate for certain major sports events so they may be viewed to their conclusion on the HD pull-down screen. Also, live entertainment is not held on Sunday and Monday nights during the NFL football season so we can show the Sunday Night and Monday Night Football games on the HD pull-down screen.

Greg Austin, December 2 & 3: Greg Austin is a down home, straightforward singer, songwriter and musician who has been diligently performing and writing contemporary Country music for 20 years. Recently relocated to northern Nevada from South Carolina, Greg has also performed in Nashville.

Escalade, December 4 - 6:  For more than a dozen years Escalade has been entertaining northern Nevada with a blend of R&B, jazz and pop. The group performs the best of the artists of Motown such as The Drifters, Coasters, Temptations and Four Tops plus the hits of Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. Band leader Jeff Odom’s strong vocals and infectious personality make this band a local favorite.

Paul Coveralli, December 9 & 10: Veteran musician Paul Covarelli is a talented guitarist and vocalist. He started the group Jo Mama over 20 years ago and also plays with other groups in the area covering jazz, swing, blues, Latin and more styles.

Jo Mama, December 11 - 13:  Jo Mama conveys the same high energy whether they are playing funk, Latin, blues, swing, rock, country or calypso.  Jo Mama features Paul Covarelli on guitar and vocals, drummer Bill Heise lays down the back beat and Nancy Barker rounds it out on keyboards and vocals.

George Pickard, December 16 & 17:  George is an accomplished performer, believable impressionist, captivating entertainer and successful song writer. He co-wrote "What Did You Do with Your Old Forty Fives" for Bobby Vinton and backed up many acts from the fifties and sixties including The Shirelles, The Diamonds and The Platters. He was also one of the Kingsmen (Louie, Louie) for a while. George has played the Fillmore in San Francisco with acts such as Santana, Big Brother and the Holding Company and Jefferson Airplane.

Atomika, December 18 - 20: Atomika entertains with their huge variety of chart-topping hits from Top 40, Rock, R&B, Country, Hip-hop, Pop, Alternative, and Dance. From Aretha Franklin to Iron Maiden, no tune is left unturned. Joining leader and founder Mark Twohey (vocals and drums) are Adina Pearl (vocals), Keith Lindsey (vocals and guitar) and Jon Middleman (vocals and bass).

Steve Lord, December 23 & 24: Playing guitar and offering dynamic vocals, Steve is a main stage performer on the West Coast. Known as the man of a thousand songs, Steve presents an evening of oldies, country, pop, blues, jazz, soul and rock 'n' roll. On August 14 Steve will be joined by other area musicians for an evening of special entertainment!

Steppen Stonz, December 25 - 27: Steppen Stonz performs Broadway tunes, oldies, Motown and pop - an array of musical styles appealing to most musical tastes. The core of the group is the two lead vocalists, Michael Hill and Arthur Hayden, who started in college and have been performing together uninterrupted for over 30 years.

Jonathan "JB" Barton, December 28 - 30: In his four decades as an entertainer Jonathan has shared the stage with a few legends including Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley. His love for a variety of musical styles is apparent in his selection of favorites from Van Morrison, CCR, Hank Williams, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Eagles and many more. Come out and sing along

The Blues Monsters, December 31:  The Blues Monsters are a red-hot rockin' blues band performing a powerfully unique combination of R&B, funk, jazz, and Chicago-style blues – this one is a "don't miss." Whether paying respects to the masters of traditional blues, or rockin' out other tunes, The Blues Monsters get the whole house up and dancing!

Melissa Dru, January 1 – 3: Singer and songwriter Melissa Dru has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York and at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Melissa and her band cover a wide mix including classic rock, R&B and a bit of country; everything from Pink Floyd to Patsy Cline. A natural performer and entertainer, Melissa will delight you with her unique vocal style and sense of fun. Don't miss this popular songbird in action!
