Discover Your Nevada #DiscoverNV16

How many Nevada places have you and your family visited that are 50 miles from your front door? Three? Four?? More???

We’re willing to bet there are breathtaking views, funky outdoor art, and fascinating ghost towns that you and your family haven’t seen. Yet.

Discover Your Nevada will help you find all the wonder our state holds for Nevada adventurers. And if that isn’t motivation enough, we’re upping the ante. Check out the six wildly fun road trips listed on this page then “check-in” on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter between Memorial Day and Labor Day. For every check-in, TravelNevada will donate $1 toward a Field Trip Fund that sends one deserving Nevada student on a Silver State field trip of a lifetime.

TravelNevada is working with the Nevada Department of Education to award a student or class a story filled field trip they’ll never forget. All you have to do is check-in using #DiscoverNV16 this summer! Upload photos, videos and tips for other travelers, too (be sure to use #DiscoverNV16).

Each valid check-in contributes $1 toward the Field Trip Fund. Every traveler with a Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter account can help generate up to $6 for the fund by traveling each of the six routes!

Discover Your Nevada and explore the state this summer. And take pride in knowing that you’re sharing the excitement of traveling the Silver State with a student. Be sure to check out our FAQs for more details and information.
