Welcome to a piece of history, Middlegate was an overland stage station that was used by the Pony Express in the 1800’s. It is also on the first paved highway coast to coast across America, the Lincoln Highway.
This area is rich in historical sites and its fun to explore the many ghost towns and mining camps that abound in the area. Middlegate has a motel, RV Park, and a free camping area, so bring your family, and bring your group as off-road adventures await you!
