The North Las Vegas Golf Course is truly affordable, enjoyable golf at its best. The traditional, no-surprise layout offers an abundance of well-established trees, small greens and gently rolling hills, so walking the course is a pleasure. The mature, well-maintained course is ideal for beginners, seniors and the casual player, none of who will be intimidated by extreme difficulty or length. The North Las Vegas Golf Course stretches 1,086 yards from the back tees for a par of 27 with nine holes, and the well-paced course encourages a second round.
Open exclusively to guests of Las Vegas’ MGM Mirage properties, the Shadow Creek Golf Club is a Tom Fazio-designed masterpiece that is truly first-class golf at its finest. No detail has been left unplanned, right up to the imported wildlife such as Australian wallabies and exotic birds, and even the natural lighting. Fazio arranged all 18 holes in such a way that they lay perpendicular to both the morning and afternoon sunlight, creating natural shadows that accentuate the inherent beauty of the par-72 course.
The Sunrise Vista Golf Course at Nellis Air Force Base features 36 holes of golf playable by current and former members of the military, their families and authorized guests. Public guests are also welcome with the purchase of a special yearly pass. Divided into two championship courses, Sunrise Vista sees an estimated 75,000 rounds played annually. The Eagle/Falcon course at Sunrise Vista was designed by Ted Robinson, who incorporated creative water hazards and gently raised greens in the relatively flat course layout. The friendly design makes walking the course a pleasure.
