Goshute Raptor Migration ProjectAdd to my Trip Planner
Hawk Watch International has been studying the fall raptor migration in the Goshute Mountains of northeastern Nevada for decades. One of the longest running standardized migration-monitoring efforts in the West, the project runs from August 15th through November 5th annually. Counts typically range between 12,000-25,000 migrants of up to 18 species each year, making this one of the largest concentrations in the western U.S. and Canada.
