The Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve is home to hundreds of migratory birds as well as numerous resident desert birds. Nine ponds are available for birding, all surrounded by both wheelchair-accessible paved rounds and soft surfaces. Gear such as comfortable shoes, sunscreen, water, and binoculars are all recommended.

Henderson Heritage Parade & Festival-Zumba Nation Dances
The city of Henderson hosts a Zumbathon Saturday, April 26 from noon-3:30 p.m. at the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 Water St., in the Water Street District as part of the International Food & Folklife Association’s activities scheduled for the Heritage Parade & Festival.
