Tucked into the secluded and picturesque Hidden Valley community of southeast Reno, the private Hidden Valley Country Club is home to 18 scenic holes of golf. Measuring just over 7,300 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72, the Hidden Valley course was designed in 1958 by Billy Bell, Jr., making it the oldest private course in Nevada. The lovely course was updated and modernized in 2001, thanks to a redesign by the renowned Dick Bailey. Hidden Valley Country Club was also the site of the U.S. Senior Open qualifier.
The course at Hidden Valley is characterized by its long, flat layout. The nicely-maintained and mature course, open to members and their guests only, features lightning fast greens and tight fairways, making accuracy, patience and concentration a premium. Water elements come into play on no less than eight holes at Hidden Valley Country Club, and there are four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers at all levels of the game.
Hidden Valley Country Club also offers its members and their guests training facilities that include a putting green and chipping area. For golfers looking to work on aspects of their game, individual instruction is available from the resident golf professional.
