This body of water is more remote than others in Elko County but offers great trout and largemouth bass fishing. Motorized boats are restricted to 10hp.

Type: Ice Fishing
The ice at Wilson Reservoir freezes later and thawss earlier in the season and roads may be impassable for much of the season. Use the utmost caution as ice fishing can be very dangerous.

Getting There: From Elko, travel north on State Route 225 to 226. Continue north on gravel country roads and watch for signs to the reservoir. About 83 miles north-northwest of Elko.
