Tuscarora Cycling

Small ranching town with deep mining industry roots. World-renowned pottery artists operate a pottery school in this tiny town and allow visitor tours. A historic cemetery on the outskirts of town marks the lives of early settlers and ranchers. This area does not provide established trails, but plenty of scenic riding is available.

Getting There: 54 miles from Elko. Take State Route 225 approximately 30 miles to State Route 226, turn left and follow signs to Tuscarora. Pass through on the graded dirt road into Tuscarora.
