The more player-friendly of the two courses at Eagle Valley Golf, considered “Best Place to Golf in Carson City” by readers of both the Nevada Appeal and the Reno Gazette-Journal, the East course boasts a generous and relatively flat layout. The wide-open course measures nearly 6,660 yards and the friendly design make it a pleasure to walk. The par-72 East course is a fantastic choice for the beginner and intermediate player, who will enjoy the odd hole that offers a chance to “grip it and rip it.” Like its sibling course, the East course at Eagle Valley Golf is impeccably maintained and nicely-established, making for a truly enjoyable round of golf.
Located just 30 minutes from both Lake Tahoe and Reno-Sparks, Eagle Valley Golf is nestled at the base of the eastern Sierra Nevada and scenic panoramas are visible all around. In addition to its two outstanding courses, the venue offers practice areas including a driving range and practice greens. Players can brush up on aspects of their game with instruction from the professional staff, and stock up on golfing essentials at the golf shop. A friendly grill is also on site, perfect for grabbing a bite after a satisfying round.
