The Wolf Run Golf Club in Reno is a challenging championship layout that will thrill the beginner and seasoned golfer alike. Expertly woven through the native vegetation of the surrounding high desert landscape, the Wolf Run course sits on 140 acres in a bowl-shaped canyon. The meandering Thomas Creek flows through the canyon, which provides the ideal amount of elevation change and natural dips and curves that give the course its great range of golf shots.
The open-track layout at Wolf Run features truly impressive greens, which are expansive and incredibly lush. Four tee boxes make the course supremely player-friendly and the straightforward yet still challenging design makes for an all-around enjoyable game with an emphasis on course management and shot selection. The outstanding practice facilities at Wolf Run include a 10,000-square-foot putting green, recently remodeled driving range and 100-yard short game area for chipping practice and sand shots. The club’s renowned Wolf Run Academy offers a range of teaching methods to fit any golfer’s needs.
The expertly-maintained Wolf Run Golf Club, which has been honored with four stars from Golf Digest, is proud to be the home course of the men’s and women’s golf teams at the University of Nevada, as well as the annual host of the 18-team Nevada Collegiate Invitational.
