Shoshone OHV Trail

Located about 25 mile south of Battle Mountain, the Shoshone OHV Trail System offers climbs to nearly 8,000 feet and travels through a variety of high desert ecosystems including pinion and juniper. It is designed for both motorcycles and four-wheeled vehicles less than 50″ in width.

The trail system is open all year, however snow and mud inhibit access during the winter and wet seasons. For optimal conditions and to minimize disturbance of wildlife, use is recommended from July 1st through November 30th. The Shoshone OHV Trails System is remote and visitors should be equipeed to be self-sufficient.
