Ubicado a minutos del centro de Gardnerville en las monta\u00f1as Pine Nut, el sendero Pinyon Trail est\u00e1 disponible en nombre de una asociaci\u00f3n entre la Asociaci\u00f3n de Senderos del Valle Carson, el condado de Douglas y la Oficina de Administraci\u00f3n de Tierras de Nevada (BLM). Ofrece un circuito de 5,3 millas moderadamente desafiante, abierto a excursionistas, ciclistas de monta\u00f1a y jinetes. Ver\u00e1 un \u00e1rea de estacionamiento y un cartel para acceder a Pinyon Trailhead en el lado izquierdo (norte) de la carretera, con mucho espacio para estacionamiento gratuito. Desde aqu\u00ed, puede cabalgar, caminar o montar a caballo hacia las monta\u00f1as, lo que, seg\u00fan el nivel de habilidad, demora aproximadamente dos horas en completarse.
