We have been to the beach there a million times, but never to the dune! The new adventure was perfect. The kids were so excited and the sunset was spectacular. There are shells and pockets of fools gold and wildflowers. It was \ud83d\ude0d truly.\n.\nI usually don't try to get people to go adventure, but go do it! It was so fun and an easy walk down a horse trail. I enjoyed playing in them as most kids do but I never loved it.  I did not like that I couldn't see the bottom and I hated the feeling of the fish and  plants drifting around my legs. \u2800\n\u2800\nBut if the lakes of my childhood were like this I would definitely reconsider.  Lake Tahoe gets me every time.  With that crystal clear blue water against that mountainous backdrop I start to rethink the lakes of my youth.
