Barracuda Professional Golf Championship
Montreux Golf and Country Club in South Reno is host once again to the annual Barracuda Championship, the region’s premier Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) sporting event and the place to catch world-class links in Northwestern Nevada.

Operated by the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Barracude Championship has a significant economic impact on the Reno/Tahoe region and highlights this stunning part of the globe as a world-class golf destination through national and international media coverage, including live coverage on the Golf Channel.
A $3.5 million purse and 300 points toward the coveted FedEx Cup are at stake with this event for a field of 132 players and top 70 final cut.
Montreux, a 7,472-yard Par 72 Jack Nicklaus-designed championship golf course, offers golfers and spectators a gorgeous venue that speaks volumes about the Reno-Tahoe region.
