Ready to experience the classic artwork of Vincent Van Gogh unlike ever before? Part of a global immersive art tour, Beyond Van Gogh comes to Reno August through October 2022, presenting an unparalleled multimedia experience, where Van Gogh’s classics are freed from their frames, appearing, then disappearing and flowing across multiple surfaces. Set to a symphonic score, more than 300 iconic artworks come alive across 30,000 square feet, using one of the world’s most prolific artist’s own dreams, thoughts, and words as a narrative to drive this unparalleled interactive art experience.
Offering an interactive experience through more than 300 iconic artworks including “The Starry Night”, “Sunflowers”, “Café Terrace at Night” and many more, immerse yourself in the world of Vincent Van Gogh like you’ve never experienced before, all from the Biggest Little City in the World.
Through the use of cutting-edge projection technology set against an original score, the Reno-Sparks Convention Center will host Van Gogh Reno, projecting more than 300 original Van Gogh artworks in high-resolution across 30,000 square feet of space. Created by French-Canadian director Matthieu St.-Arnaud and his team at Montreal’s Normal Studio, Beyond Van Gogh breaks barriers by incorporating both still and moving art. The show is projected on every surface around you, making you feel as though you’ve stepped right into “The Starry Night” itself.
Tickets for Van Gogh Reno are on sale now! The event kicks off in Reno at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center August 19 – October 3, 2022, with show times being offered from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily, with timed entry. The show is roughly one hour, and set up walk-through style with limited seating available. Tickets are priced based on off-peak times (weekdays), and peak times (weekends). From Monday through Thursday, Basic Timed Entry general admission for anyone 16+ are available for $36.99, Child Timed Entry tickets for children ages 5-15 are available for $23.99, and VIP packages offered from $53.99 to 93.99. From Friday through Sunday and holidays, Basic Timed Entry general admission for anyone 16+ are available from $46.99, Child Timed Entry tickets for children ages 5-15 are available for $23.99, and VIP packages offered from $63.99 to 93.99. All children ages 4 and younger can enter the show for free and do not require a ticket. Group timed entry is also available for $39.99 for groups of 8 people or more.
