Racers in qualifying classes\, including UTVs\, quads\, motorcycles\, cars\, and trucks\, take on a demanding point-to-point course through remote Nevada terrain. Depending on the year\, the route may run either direction between Reno and Las Vegas. \n\n\n\nThe 2026 race celebrates the event’s 30th anniversary by running “the other way\,” with racers starting in the Reno area and finishing near Las Vegas.
