Every February\, filmmakers and fans from all corners of the world flock to Boulder City to celebrate the art of short film. Over the course of six days\, the Dam Short Film Festival presents more than 150 independent short films of all styles and genres. \n\n\n\nDelighting indie filmmakers and movie buffs for 20+ years\, the Dam Short Film Festival screens more than 150 short films of all genres in the historic heart of Boulder City. \n\n\n\nComedy. Drama. Animation. Sci-fi. Horror. Documentary. Student films. The Dam Short Film Festival offers it all and more. In addition to film screenings\, the festival features multiple days of events across Boulder City\, including filmmaker mixers\, meet-and-greets\, and special programs that encourage conversation between creators and audiences. Winning films are determined by audience votes for every screening category\, and awards are also given for Best Nevada Filmmaker and the Leslie Paige Award for Excellence in Filmmaking. \n\n\n\nFor even more film fest fun\, opt for one of two VIP Experience packages.
