DESCRIPTION:Growing bigger and brighter every year\, Dragon Lights Reno fills the Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden with thousands of Chinese lantern sculptures that glow\, move\, and change colors. Wander through breathtaking displays full of flora\, fauna\, and imaginary creatures while enjoying tasty fare and an interactive playground.   \n\n\n\nStep into a fusion of global cultures and let Dragon Lights Reno dazzle you with larger-than-life lantern sculptures that light up the night. \n\n\n\nDebuting new themes and lanterns every year (the 2026 theme is “Many Worlds Aglow”)\, Dragon Lights Reno delights families\, couples\, and anyone who appreciates art. The walk-through experience is less than a mile long\, but visitors regularly spend more than 90 minutes taking in all the sights. A free\, guided audio tour provides details about the displays\, and photos are fully encouraged. \n\n\n\nAt the interactive playground\, kids—and kids at heart—can touch\, play with\, and even sit on some lanterns. Local and traveling food vendors offer a selection of Asian and American bites and beverages\, and the on-site marketplace is full of souvenirs and handicrafts. \n\n\n\nDragon Lights Reno runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Oct. 2 through Nov. 1. Hours will then be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 2-29.
