SUMMARY:Fastest Gun Alive World Championship
DESCRIPTION:Safety first\, fun second\, and competition third—that’s the name of the game at the Fastest Gun Alive World Championship. More than 275 six-shooters from all over the U.S. (and world!) come to The Oasis of Nevada to go head-to-head in fast draw competitions while spectators enjoy western BBQ\, a craft fair\, and costumed entertainers. \n\n\n\nThe legacy of the Old West lives on in Fallon. More than 275 competitors of all ages strap on their six-shooters and go head-to-head for the bragging rights of being Fastest Gun Alive. \n\n\n\nHundreds of men\, women\, and children (some as young as eight years old!) come to Fallon to compete in cowboy fast draw\, all using wax bullets or blank cartridges. Participants have been highly trained in safety procedures\, making competitors some of the most respectful—and most fun—shooters to watch. The finals take place at high noon on Sunday with winners earning the coveted title of Fastest Gun Alive. \n\n\n\nBetween duels\, shop an expansive craft fair featuring everything from holster makers and western clothing to crafts and gifts. Barbeque\, hot dogs\, hamburgers\, and more will be served hot off the grill\, and a car show adds to the excitement. On Saturday\, spectators will be able to try their hand at six-shooter skills like drawing and shooting.
