DESCRIPTION:Head for one of the most remote towns in the Lower 48 for Jarbidge Days\, a community celebration surrounded by canyon country\, forested peaks\, and plenty of only-in-Jarbidge character. Even though Jarbidge only has about 20 full-time residents\, visitors make the journey for a spirited day of frontier town festivities. \n\n\n\nCelebrate Jarbidge with a dirt-road parade\, local saloons\, community activities\, historic stops\, and high-mountain scenery in one of the country’s most remote towns. \n\n\n\nThe festivities typically begin with the Jarbidge Days Parade\, which rolls along the dirt road that serves as the town’s main street. Set up a spot to watch\, or join the procession when parade participation is open to visitors. \n\n\n\nJarbidge Days also includes a poker and beer crawl\, both of which kick off after the parade. The beer crawl will take those 21 and up to both of Jarbidge’s Sagebrush Saloons—the Red Dog Saloon and the Outdoor Inn—and other stops throughout the community. A selection of gorgeous quilts will be on display\, too\, thanks to the Jarbidge Arts Council. \n\n\n\nWhile you’re in town\, make time for the historic Jarbidge Jail and the rugged Jarbidge Wilderness Area\, where hiking\, fishing\, camping\, and big mountain views reward the long drive.
