Most people recognize the beginning of fall because of changing leaves and cooler weather, but in Pahrump fall starts when the grapes are stomped.
The Pahrump Valley Winery Grape Stomp is an annual celebration of fall harvest where attendees have the opportunity to roll up their pant lets, take off their shoes and stomp around in some Nevada-grown grapes.
In addition to the Grape Stomp, this weekend event offers wine and food tasting, crafts from local vendors, live music, and Pahrump Valley Winery's largest sale of the year, with many of its wines below wholesale price!
Your team of two will have two minutes to stomp, with a new round starting every 15 minutes. Awards will be granted to the best teams of the hour, of the day, for the best costumes, and to the "worst" stomper.
Event Time: 11 a.m - 4:30 p.m.
General admission: $10 at the gate (or) $7 in advance at the winery only until Sept 28, 2017.
Grape stomping event: Begins at high noon
