Friends and supporters of Snake Valley will gather in Baker June 18-21 for the 12th annual Snake Valley Festival, a celebration of water’s importance to the region and fundraiser to support community preservation.
All are invited to join in the Father’s Day weekend fun, which includes the Small Town Parade along Saval and Baker avenues, free live entertainment, children’s games, a massive water fight, pancake breakfast, barbecue dinner, raffle prizes, bake sale, book sale, community yard sale, vendor booths, beer tasting party, ice cream social, bingo, Nevada Free Fishing Day on Saturday, Sunday softball games, a Saturday night astronomy program at Lehman Caves Visitor Center in Great Basin National Park, and more!
All proceeds from festival events benefit the Great Basin Water Network to help protect Snake Valley and other nearby areas from massive dewatering projects that would forever change our way of life.
