If you don't suffer from coulrophobia (fear of clowns), The Clown Motel in Tonopah is taking reservations🤡
With a collection of more than 600 clown figures, this place is creepy, but cool.
But, I'm not checking in 👀.
Oh, and the Old Tonopah Cemetery is 20 feet away🙈

Last weekend I went to Reno with a friend from Seattle. It was a midway point to split the flight time. We knew we wanted to do a little gambling but didn’t want to stay in the casinos. We were lucky enough to find whitneypeakhotel a boutique smoke free and gaming free hotel right at the arch on the strip.

We stayed in a Club Level room on the 16th floor with neon sunset views over the casinos. Our room was HUGE and came with a few amenities that I haven’t seen before. Ok, so a Schitt’s Creek door hanger isn’t actually an amenity, but I LOVED IT!

In addition to our Club Level room coming with access to the lounge for free happy hour and breakfast, each floor had an amazing water dispenser. Between the elevation and the heat, HELLO! this is genius! Such a life saver! I wish every hotel had filtered water for everyone!

We had several meals and drinks in the cafewhitneyreno , the chicken kaarage was a delicious surprise. And they have an indoor AND outdoor rock climbing wall!

If you’re exploring Reno or having a stop over before going to Tahoe, this is a great option for you.
With room rates starting at just $60 per night, who isn't ready for a little getaway in Tahoe?!? ✋ Visit our website www.montbleuresort.com to begin booking your trip. The hotel and casino is now open. Pool included! 👙
It’s the freakin’ weekend, baby, and if you wanna do Saturday Nevada style, you better get your buns off the grid and on the barstool at a real-as-it-gets sagebrush saloon. @overlandhotel keeps the drinks flowing and the history alive in Pioche, where you can cheers beers over a solid mahogany bar built way back in 1868. 🍻

“Full use of the castle.” A rare, but incredibly awesome, amenity for a bed and breakfast to boast. 🏰

Yep, that’s Paradise Ranch Castle B&B, nestled on 160 acres in the scenic Reese River Valley. Head to our bio for the sweet story on how this “dream castle” came to be, then hightail it to Austin, Nevada for one mega memorable sleepover. 🤩

At Nevada Northern Railway Museum, you'll have the opportunity to stay overnight in a real caboose. Caboose #22 may not offer any traditional amenities, but it'll be an experience you won't soon forget.

Since 1907, the Mizpah Hotel has been an oasis of comfort in the stark beauty of Nevada’s high desert.⁣
⁣
Built for $200,000, with solid granite walls, leaded glass windows and Victorian-era luxury appointments, the hotel featured solid oak furniture, hot and cold running water, steam heat, brass chandeliers, stained glass windows, and an electric elevator (one of the first in the state). At five stories, it was also the tallest building in Nevada at the time. ⁣
⁣
The Mizpah is known as the most haunted hotel in the USA. All sorts of crazy stuff happened out there back in the day. The Lady in Red is the most popular ghost that haunts the hotel. The story goes that she was a high class prostitute who was strangled by a client. You can book the room she was strangled in if that is your thing. There is a nameless soldier that is said to haunt the 3rd and 4th floors of the hotel. A pair of children are also known to haunt the 3rd floor and play pranks on guest. There have been reports of guest hearing giggling in the hallways when no one is around and doors opening and closing without explanation.⁣
