Located in the heart of Minden, Nevada, Carson Valley Inn has served locals and visitors alike in historic Carson Valley since August 1984, building a serious following of Carson Valley regulars while always drawing folks from out of town. Featuring performances from national touring music acts—especially in country music (Clint Black and Easton Corbin, anyone?)—this hotel-casino, done up in the early 20th century’s Arts and Crafts-style,  is just the right size and location for a weekend of live music, gaming action, relaxation, fine dining, and clean, comfortable rooms.

Carson Valley Inn Accommodations

The Carson Valley Inn features 149 hotel rooms (11 of which are suites), 74 motor lodge rooms, a 59-site RV park, a convenience store and a well-lit parking lot for more than 600 vehicles. Rooms feature flatscreen HDTVs, coffee makers, WiFi, and super roomy beds. There’s also more than 6,000 square feet of convention space to support events from weddings and banquets to conventions and meetings. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, spas, a fitness room, and a deck for relaxing on Nevada’s plentiful sunny days.

Gamblers will find action at 600 slots, eight table games, a sports book, a poker room, three dining facilities, two lounges, and live entertainment in the cabaret lounge. Guests enjoy free parking (valet and general) and there is no resort fee.

CV Steak & Other Restaurants

The resort underwent a massive renovation in 2019, and the improvements really show at every turn you take on this property. Dine at Katie’s Country Kitchen for hearty breakfasts, baked goods, steak and eggs, and a famous Sunday chicken dinner that heaps on more mashed potatoes and coleslaw than you can imagine. Swing over to the CV Steak restaurant for steaks, chops, seafood, and other classic American dishes, accompanied by a hand crafted cocktail or glass of wine. If you’re in a rush, Job’s Perk offers coffee, pastries, snacks, sundries, and cold beverages for your day on the go, whether it’s to nearby Carson City or a scenic ride up to nearby Lake Tahoe.

TJ’s Corral

While the focus tends to be on country artists, there’s plenty for classic rock fans to love, as well.
