Luxury Stay at the Renaissance Hotel Reno

Whether you’re traveling for business or for pleasure (or both?), it’s hard to beat the location and amenities of the Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa. Boasting a prime location just 3.4 miles from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, this upscale hotel provides easy access to top attractions such as MidTown Reno, the downtown Reno Events Center, and the National Automobile Museum.

Retreat to stylish rooms and suites featuring chic décor, luxury bedding, plug-in media panels, flat-screen TVs and high-speed Wi-Fi. Bonus: the Renaissance is a non-gaming hotel, so it provides a wonderful respite from the usual sounds and smoke found at other area properties. You can also savor delicious fare at the on-site restaurant, The Shore Room, serving Mediterranean cuisine (and far more, including killer riverside brunch) in a casual fine dining environment. Stay on top of your workout routine at the property’s 24-hour fitness center, take a swim in the outdoor pool, or unwind for the day at The Refuge—the property’s on-site spa. If you’re hosting a business or social gathering during your trip, reserve one of the Renaissance’s flexible event venues.

The Shore Restaurant at Renaissance Hotel in Reno

It’s not an exaggeration to say that a meal at the Shore Room is one of Reno’s hottest tickets. Featuring a Mediterranean-inspired menu, this riverside restaurant has views to die for and an interior that calls to mind the elegance of restaurants in larger cities. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Shore Room features fresh, seasonal ingredients in a casual, fine dining atmosphere. You can simply stop by for a drink and appetizers at the bar overlooking the Truckee River or make a reservation for a romantic date. Pro tip: It’s also one of the best spots for a weekend brunch with an eclectic and flavorful menu paired with bottomless mimosas and bloody Marys.
