Each summer, Reno hosts Hot August Nights, the Air Races and the Hot Air Balloon Races. During Reno Hot August Nights, vintage cars are on display along with entertainment and music. Pilots with their aircraft compete for honors during the Reno Air Races which is the most popular air race event in the country. Many colorful balloons rise into the clear Nevada sky within a half mile of Bonanza Terrace RV Park during the Reno Hot Air Balloon Races.
