Reno’s Brüka Theater all began in 1992 when a small group of Reno-area artists combined their artistic visions and extensive theatre backgrounds. Now nearly 30 years later, the Brüka Theater continues to impress newcomers discovering the Biggest Little City and Renoites who have cherished this local community theater for decades, continually recognized for its fresh productions, exceptionally talented artists, and acclaimed Theater for Children series since its founding in 1992. For a spirited, yet polished and refined take on local arts and entertainment, get to the Brüka.
Situated a few blocks south of the Reno Arch and across from Reno City Center, the Brüka Theater is steps from the Truckee River and easy to weave into your downtown Reno discoveries. Continually named “Best Theatre Company”, every production at Brüka Theatre Reno is special, developing new productions within Brüka’s Artistic Collective—a group that includes recipients of coveted local grants from the Sierra Arts Foundation and nine local best actor honors.
Part of the Reno performing arts scene for nearly 30 seasons and having produced over 100 shows, the staff, board members, community supports, National TCG (Theatre Communications Group), Nevada Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts continue to captivate audiences, garnering local and national attention every season.
