Each December, the cozy mining town of Virginia City transforms into a real-life vintage Christmas village, embracing the holiday spirit with twinkling lights, shops decorated to the hilt, and a bevy of special events.

Christmas on the Comstock has holiday festivities for all ages. Meet Santa and snap a photo with him at the Virginia City Visitor Center or fulfill your own nice list with boutique gift shopping at multiple art and craft fairs. The Grinch Made Me Do It Saloon Crawl features specialty cocktails at a variety of locations. Add some wonder to your holiday season with the Magical Christmas Fireworks Show and gaze up in awe at the new Christmas Drone Show. On the V&T Railroad, ride the Candy Cane Express or the Electric Holiday Train O’ Lights, both of which are guaranteed to make lasting memories.
