Tons of fun in the summer sun awaits at the Reno River Festival! Three days of festivities take over Idlewild Park, inviting locals and visitors alike to enjoy adventures on the Truckee River, concerts, dozens of food and drink vendors, and lots more activities.

In the Biggest Little City, summer begins with the Reno River Festival.

Take a professionally guided rafting tour down the Truckee River straight into the heart of the event during the Great Reno River Rally. At the Reno Tahoe Adventure Park, thrill seekers of all ages can tackle obstacles, rides, challenges, and games. And if you’ve got the skills, sign up for 18 holes of bucket golf, complete with drink service, a PGA-style leaderboard, and hazards.

Live music rocks the Reno River Festival all weekend long, too. MusicFest will host 24 bands and musicians from all genres on two stages. Come hungry and take advantage of the nearly 20 food trucks and specialty food booths that’ll be cooking up all kinds of tasty treats. A themed Hops & Happiness drink tour through Idlewild Park will offer premium craft beers, hard seltzers, and canned cocktails at outdoor bars styled after iconic time periods.

If that’s not enticing enough, Reno River Festival also features a bark park designed for dogs, a guided painting experience, a festival-wide scavenger hunt, and more than 100 vendors to shop. Get all the latest details about everything Reno River Festival has to offer from their website.

Three-day Reno River Festival passes are $15, and kids ages 17 and under are free. Additional fees apply for the Great Reno River Rally, the Hops & Happiness tour, MusicFest VIP tables, and other specialty adventures. A portion of pre-purchased entry fees benefit Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful and the Kiwanis Bike Program.
