A free Bright Side Continental Breakfast® is served daily by the Great Room with an indoor fireplace, and the property is also equipped with a lovely outdoor patio fire pit for taking in some of the darkest skies in the lower 48. Those traveling with pets are most welcome.
Wake up to a healthy and hearty free Bright Side Breakfast with hot and cold selections served daily by our friendly staff. Keep in touch using free local calls, free high-speed Internet access, or by tuning in to the 32” flat screen TV in every guest room and suite. Relax before our fireplace or enjoy our pool and fitness room. You can travel light, as we provide an in-room microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer and iron with ironing board. Down the hall, a guest laundry facility is available at a modest fee. At the end of a fun and busy day, you’ll find 10 restaurants within a mile or so, including some which are adjacent, so you can leave your car in our parking lot, which is always free.
In the days of the pony express, Ely grew as a stop on the stagecoach run nestled between Utah’s Wasatch Mountains and the Sierra Nevada range. Copper was discovered in 1906, and it’s still part of the area’s modern story. Modern visitors are taken with the Ghost Train of Old Ely, preserved as a heritage railway at the Nevada Northern Railway. To really take in all the history found throughout the area, head for the White Pine Public Museum to learn about the “Cave Bear” Pony Express and Lincoln Highway history, and some of Nevada’s more famous ghost towns. This is White Pine County, named for the trees commonly found in our mountains of the Great Basin National Park. Nevada’s second tallest peak can be found within the parks at Wheeler Peak. Humboldt National Forest and Ward Mountain Recreation Area are both only six miles away and historic downtown Ely is within walking distance, offering a great selection of restaurants and shopping.
